James Teng successfully defended his thesis on May 22, 2026. This fall, he will begin a postdoctoral research fellowship at Toronto Metropolitan University with Prof. M. Natasha Rajah.
CCBBI is grateful for James's outstanding contributions over the past three years, including service on the Technical Committee, MRI scanning support, and outreach leadership.
Welcome, Nevyana Todorova
Nev is a second-year graduate student in clinical psychology and the new CCBBI Graduate Research Assistant. She brings extensive MRI experience, including more than 300 hours of scanning at the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging.
In Dr. Ruchika Prakash's Clinical Neuroscience Lab, Nev studies structural and functional brain changes with aging, how stress contributes to these changes, and interventions that may help alleviate cognitive decline.
