I received my BA in Psychology at The Ohio State University and my PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Miami in Florida. I returned to Columbus for my clinical internship on the Mood, Anxiety, and Mindfulness rotation. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher with Dr. Jay Fournier in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. My research integrates a range of methodologies, including fMRI, ecological momentary assessment, and behavioral experiments to examine the temporal dynamics of emotion and negative cognition across various timescales and contexts. I am particularly passionate about understanding how brain supports persistence negative affect for those with internalizing psychopathology.
